The Empress card is one of the easier trumps to read. She's Mother. Generally, she is Mother in a good sense, patient, loving, giving, and generous. The Empress is the creator. She creates life, romance, art, or business. Think of her as the mother of us all, and the mother of things to be. The word that comes to mind in regards to the Empress is patience. Being the bearer of new life, she knows that it is fragile. She knows that for things to grow one needs to be patient and nurturing. One must provide love and attention, if they are to see the fruit of their efforts. She is telling you that your future will take time to build and create.
