Another reason to miss Des Moines (or go back to it)--a position just opened up in the English department at Drake ;)

awww, and I need a job. I could commute. Lots of Drake profs live in Iowa City, it's only twice the drive from here. And hell, I can just buy all of my gas in Des Moines that way. Yeah I am sure that would work.
I would really love teaching at Drake, it would be a whole different experience than teaching here, but I would love it. (not to mention the incredible benefits).
